It’s a bold new era for the Birmingham Mail’s website, app and social media accounts as they are rebranded as Birmingham Live.
The new name has been chosen to better reflect a live, digital news operation – one that champions Birmingham and that our audiences and customers want to be a part of. Our audience told us they wanted a website that feels vibrant and inspirational, that they can visit each day to see what’s happening right now. One that celebrates the great, yet calls out what needs to change.
Birmingham people already rely on us for local news, sport and what’s on information – 8.4 million unique browsers visited our website in January * – and now we’re looking to grow this huge audience further still by becoming the essential, go-to site for all aspects of Birmingham life. We know this great city and we can tell its stories better than anyone. In short, we’re #BigOnBrum.
To tie in with the name change, the website, app and social media accounts will all feature a new colour scheme based on user feedback. It’s simple, clean and modern, and we believe you’ll love our new-look brand.
